Takaya relished sunsets like a last supper.

“Stop,” Naoe snarled.

Kotarou’s throat constricted when Takaya neared. Possible allergy, he noted.

“You suck at this,” Takaya muttered, swiping Naoe’s bandages. “Here.”

“Doubles passion.” Takaya read the love talisman Naoe wore, paling.

“Because father appointed you,” Kagetora said coldly, kneeling. Naoe smiled.

Kagetora’s very surrender was fierce, possessed of kamikaze courage.

“I desire only his happiness.”

Naoe hated Conrad instantly.

The strange possessor leered. “Remember me, Saburo-dono?” Takaya stared. “Impossible…”

Kotarou purred smugly, head in Takaya’s lap. Naoe’s fists trembled.

“Let me love you!”
